Vehicle Dynamics in Simulation and Testing

Course 1: 23-25 May 2005 at ika in Aachen/Germany: Attention: Course 1 does not take place
Course 2: 21-23 September 2005 at HAN-University in Arnhem/NL

Introduction

The Euromotor Course Vehicle Dynamics in Simulation and Testing will take place in the sixth year now. This time again two two-day-courses will be offered on 23-25 May 2005 in Aachen at the ika (Institut für Kraftfahrwesen Aachen), and a second time in the Netherlands on 21-23 September 2005 at the HAN-University (Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen) in Arnhem, with the test event done on the Deelen Airfield. As the previous ones, these events are designed to combine lectures, simulation practices and driving tests with concept vehicles on the test track. Course attendees will have the opportunity to work with simulation tools and to perform driving tests themselves. The courses will at first concentrate on theoretical backgrounds of vehicle lateral and vertical dynamics. The following simulation and practice courses will thereafter give a more in-depth understanding of the theoretical contents of vehicle dynamics. The courses are designed to deliver a basic knowledge of vehicle lateral and vertical dynamics and therefore are aimed at engineers in automotive and supplier industry who require an introduction in vehicle dynamics in testing and simulation.
