Topic and Goal of the Thesis

Previously intended to allow people inside the vehicle to look out whilst protected from the weather, vehicle glazing in automated vehicles is becoming increasingly important as a display and interaction surface. Be it the indication of vehicle-relevant information in the side window, the use of the windscreen as a projection surface or the panoramic roof as a television. However, the topic of displays in glass is still in its early stages. Within the framework of this work, a comprehensive research shall be conducted on technical solutions, the possible displayed information and future technologies.
