"Crash Compatibility of Electric Vehicles“
The 2012 Safety Workshop of the European Automotive Research Partners Association (EARPA) will provide interesting insights into crash compatibility issues of electric vehicles. The workshop will take place at the "Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge“ (ika) of RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, Germany.
A total of six presentations will focus on:
- Risks from crashes with electric vehicles
- Testing and evaluation methods
- Solutions for improved crash safety
The workshop will give ample room for discussions. Open participation is strongly encouraged to facilitate a proactive information exchange.
On the two days after the EARPA workshop, the Aachen Body Engineering Days 2012 will be held at ika. This conference, also addressing structural design and crashworthiness issues, will be a great opportunity to continue the discussions from the workshop.
