International Automotive Congress 2009 in Shenyang Successfully Completed
The 2nd International Automotive Congress 2009 took place in Shenyang, China, on September 13, 2009. The event was organised with a combined effort of the Forschungsgesellschaft Kraftfahrwesen mbH Aachen (fka), the Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge RWTH Aachen University (ika), the Vogel Media Group China, as well as Shenyang People’s Municipal Government. The organisers were pleased to welcome approx. 340 participants, both from China and from foreign countries. In addition to the course of lectures, automotive suppliers and engineering service providers were able to present themselves at the accessory exhibition of the International Automotive Congress 2009. The fka was also represented there.
Current issues regarding research and development in the fields of Design and Development, Electronics and Safety, New type engine and Hybrid, as well as Chassis and Powertrain were subject of 20 lectures in total.
The idea of organising the International Automotive Congress 2009 in China emerged 4 years ago. Due to the excellent planning and preparation, the idea was successfully realised. Moreover, a platform for further exchange and cooperation between Chinese and German automotive experts was further established by this congress.
