Optimization of the operation of vehicle fleets with various drive technologies
Topic and Goal of the Thesis
Innovative developments are bringing battery-electric and fuel cellpowered commercial vehicles onto the market. The ranges, charging times and insufficiently developed infrastructure for charging and refueling these vehicles make it difficult to integrate them reliably and economically into existing fleets of conventional drive systems. The aim of this thesis is to develop a model that optimizes the overall operation of fleets based on vehicle models of different drive technologies with a focus on route planning.
