Girls' Day 2021

Special times call for special measures – 2021 Girls' Day took place online for the first time!

This year, too, despite the special circumstances, we did not want to forego presenting our work to young people. Girls' Day 2021 therefore took place online for the first time. Due to the digital setup, students from all over Germany were able to participate.

The focus was to show the girls our research as well as the versatile career opportunities at the ika. With our work quiz, many pictures and clips we gave a first insight into our work and afterwards, thanks to the many interested questions and comments of the participants, we started an exciting discussion.

We hope that next year's Girls' Day will again take place in person at the ika as usual, but we are happy to have successfully mastered the digital step.
