Bots and Vehicles in Agriculture
We invite you to attend our upcoming lecture on the integration of digital farming, precision farming, and robotics in modern agriculture. Through this lecture, you will gain invaluable knowledge on how these cutting-edge technologies can optimize crop yield, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
As external lectureres we were able to win Dr.Ing. Andreas Brunnert, Director SF Electrics/Electronics at CLAAS Selbstfahrende Erntemaschinen GmbH and Dr.Ing Matthias Mütter from LEMKEN GmbH & Co.KG. In addition to their technical expertise, they will provide insight into their everyday work and you will have the opportunity to make contact for possible internshipos and theses.
The lecture will be complemented by a one-day excursion to a agricultural engineering company giving you direct insights into the industry.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the module students will have an understanding of the speical machines and processes used in agriculture, including the technical challenges of the indiviudal special applications. They will be enabled to analyse agricultural engineering problems, to develop and evaluate the associated solutions. As a combination task of robotic fundamentals and specific agricultural processes, students will be able to design robotic concepts for specific agricultural tasks at the end of the course.
