Humanoid Robot – HAINZ
HAINZ is our humanoid robot, which serves as a versatile tool for automating various processes and tasks. No extensive technical modifications are required: Since the robot can operate in human-friendly environments and use existing controls, it can be deployed immediately in existing vehicles and work environments. HAINZ thus also serves as a platform for exploring the potential of humanoid robotics for the mobility of tomorrow – from vehicle operation to service and logistics tasks to direct assistance for passengers.
Current Areas of Application
- Automated vehicle control using end-to-end approaches: Operating conventional vehicles via existing controls (e.g., in specialized commercial vehicles)
- HMI Research: Testing and validation of human-robot interactions in vehicle development
- Assistance and service tasks along the entire mobility chain: Investigation of humanoid assistance with vehicle-related activities, such as charging, loading, and unloading, or passenger assistance
