Vehicles and VRU Virtual eValuation of Road Safety

The Project Vehicles and VRU Virtual eValuation of Road Safety (V4Safety) deals with the harmonization of a method for the effectiveness analysis of traffic solutions. Driver assistance systems, as well as infrastructure solutions and automated vehicles, are increasingly taking to the roads – but do these systems help to improve safety?

The project is developing a harmonized method in order to be able to assess this using simulations before they are introduced.
