Car HMI: How does a firework of user research methods support product-strategic decision making

- Pia Immoor (Allround Team GmbH), Dr. Oliver Sack (Vodafone GmbH)
Pia and Oliver will report on how user-centred approaches have influenced and will influence current and future car releases. They have concrete examples from vehicle development on semi-autonomous driving, eMobility, cluster design & steering wheel controls in their luggage. The new demands on technology also require new approaches to thinking and testing. Therefore, the listener will get to know classic and new UX research methods - starting with AR/VR settings, driver journey mapping and repertory grid technique up to usability testing.
