The Mobility Meetup is an open lecture and discussion series organized by the Profile Area Mobility and Transport Engineering of RWTH Aachen University. The series brings together people who want not only to use mobility but also to shape it: researchers, industry professionals, students, and interested participants meet to exchange ideas, discover new perspectives, and discuss the future of mobility.

Through inspiring talks, speakers provide insights into current developments, projects, and research questions from academia and practice. The focus lies on clear communication, practical relevance, and open dialogue.

After the presentations, participants have time for conversations, questions, and discussions in an informal atmosphere — an opportunity to build new connections, gain interdisciplinary perspectives, and develop shared ideas.

Participation is free of charge and open to everyone.

The Institute of Automotive Engineering is part of the RWTH Aachen University and has a staff of more than 200 employees. In worldwide cooperation with renowned, partners from industry and research, we deal with all questions concerning mobility as well as the motor vehicle. For example, we develop new ideas for innovative components and systems, which are often integrated into vehicle prototypes. The scientific staff is supported by the employees of the workshops, the administration as well as EDP and PR/media.
