Lying is the new way of sitting
Our Meetup series for interested parties presents and discusses current, practice-relevant research topics in the field of future mobility.
As automation progresses, the primary driving task recedes into the background and offers the driver new ways of using the vehicle. As a result of this relief, non-driving activities and innovative approaches to various interior features in particular are moving into the focus of usage scenarios for future mobility concepts. The extent to which these have an effect on the well-being of the occupants is not yet sufficiently known. For example, working simultaneously while driving often leads to nausea symptoms called kinetosis, which severely restrict the well-being of many people. The lecture shows the basics for researching the corresponding requirements for the automobile of the future.
Dominique Bohrmann
- is project manager in the field of kinetosis in the field of vehicle concepts at Daimler AG and doctoral student in cooperation with the Chair of Ergonomics at the Technical University of Munich.
- deals with the prediction and prevention of kinetosis symptoms in non-driving activities with regard to highly automated driving scenarios.
The event starts at 18:00 hrs, the talk will be held in German.{ontime:-'2019-09-12'}
Registration is requested.{/ontime}
